I recently had the pleasure of photographing two of my close friends who are expecting their first child in just a few short weeks. We decided to do the shoot in their cozy home, which made the experience even more special.
Burke Maternity Photoshoot
We started the shoot by taking some natural and candid shots of the couple in their living room. The sun was shining through the window, giving the room a warm and inviting glow. We captured some sweet moments of them snuggling up on the couch and sharing a laugh.
Next, we moved to the baby’s nursery where we got some adorable shots of the couple. It was clear how much love and thought they had put into creating a perfect space for their little one.
One of the highlights of the shoot was when we captured a pair of tiny slippers, to represent the soon-to-be-born baby, placed gently on the mother’s belly. It was priceless to see the anticipation and joy on her face.
Throughout the shoot, I made sure that my friends felt relaxed and comfortable. I wanted to capture their personalities and style in the photos, and I think we did a great job of achieving that.
In conclusion, this photoshoot was an incredible experience, and I am so grateful to have been a part of it. Being able to document the love and excitement of growing families is one of my favorite parts of being a photographer. I cannot wait to see my friends as parents and to capture more special moments with them in the future.
